Frequently asked questions
Short, straight answers to what shop owners ask most. If your question is not here, ask it in the chat.
General
What is SzervizAI?
One system for independent auto repair shops that puts the phone, the website chat, online booking, customer and vehicle records and automatic reminders in one place. The goal: no manual admin left in the shop.
Who is it for?
Independent auto repair shops, tire shops, body shops, inspection stations and any workshop that works by appointment. From a one-person shop to a business with several locations.
Who is behind SzervizAI?
Ádám Tokár, a sole trader based in Gyula, Hungary. I do the setup, maintenance and support personally. The provider details are in the legal notice.
Does it replace the programs I use today?
Yes, everything in one place: customer and vehicle records by license plate, job cards, estimates approved by link, inspection sheets, the calendar, reminders, tire storage, booking deposits, phone and chat, so you stop paying several vendors. I move your data from the old system for free, from an Excel or CSV export.
Does it work with my parts suppliers?
The parts finder add-on searches by part number in any spelling or by name, shows OEM and aftermarket equivalents and the best supplier offer, and places the order with the supplier by itself, below your limit straight away and above it after one-click approval. Supplier prices are connected with your own supplier access after the trial.
AI receptionist and chatbot
Does the phone receptionist pretend to be a person?
No. It speaks in a natural voice, and it says at the start of every call that it is a digital assistant. If the caller wants a person, or the question goes beyond booking, it takes a callback request and you get a notification straight away.
Does it answer questions about a car problem?
Yes, with general information in plain spoken style: the most likely causes of a noise or a warning light, whether it is safe to keep driving, and what to book. It never diagnoses for certain and never quotes a repair price over the phone. If the brakes, the steering or the tires are affected, or a red warning light is on, its first sentence is to stop safely, and in an emergency to call 911.
Does the shop keep its phone number?
Yes. The digital receptionist works through call forwarding from your existing number. You can choose whether it answers always, only when the line is busy, or only outside opening hours.
What does the chatbot know about my shop?
Only what you give and I add: services, prices, job durations, opening hours, contact details. If it does not know something, it does not make up an answer; it offers a callback instead.
Can customers send a photo?
Yes. A driver can send a photo of a dashboard warning light, a tire or a damaged part in the chat. The chatbot describes what it sees, says whether it is safe to drive and offers a booking, without quoting a repair price.
Does it record calls?
It only records audio if you ask for it, and then it tells the caller at the start of the call. A written summary is made of every call.
Booking and automation
How do customers book online?
On your website, in the chat or by phone, they pick a free slot. Every channel books into the same workshop calendar, so there are no double bookings.
Which messages does it send?
A confirmation at booking, a reminder before the visit, the car-ready message, and later service, state inspection and tire season reminders and a review request if you want them. Timing and wording are set per shop.
Are messages sent by text or email?
Both, depending on the customer's contact details and consent. Marketing messages only go out with prior consent.
How does the tire storage work?
Every stored tire set gets a record with the vehicle, rack location, tread depth and season. Before the season the system invites the customers to book their change, and the booking shows which set to bring out.
Do I get notified about new bookings?
Yes. You get a notification about new bookings, inquiries, callback requests and cancellations, and a daily summary every morning if you want one.
Data and security
Who controls the data and who processes it?
Your shop controls the customer and vehicle data. SzervizAI processes it on your instructions, within a written data processing agreement.
Who owns the data when the contract ends?
Your shop does. You get a full export in a standard format, and then I delete the data as set out in the data processing agreement.
How is the data protected?
Encrypted transfer and storage, role-based access and access logging, regular backups.
Pricing and contract
How much does it cost?
A one-time setup fee plus a monthly fee. There are 3 packages: Starter $289, Workshop $549 and Network $949 a month. Prices in USD. No sales tax or VAT is added to my invoice.
Is there an annual discount?
With annual billing you pay 10 monthly fees, with no setup fee, and get 12 months.
Is there a setup fee?
